Daily Programme Itinerary

14-Day Programme

Day 1 The pilgrims’ flight from various South African airports to Medina.

Day 2 The caravans’ arrival in Medina, settling into the hotel, initial greetings.

Day 3 Bus tours around Medina (Uhud, Hendek, Kıbleteyn and Kuba Mosque).

Day 4 Daily regular worship programmes.

Day 5 Daily regular worship programmes, Date palm garden programme.

Day 6 After the noon prayer, departure for Mecca. Entering ihram at Zulhulefe, intention for Umrah.

Day 7 Pilgrims’ visits to nearby sites and daily customary worship after the afternoon prayer in Mecca.

Day 8 (Day of Terviye) Departure for Mina and staying in Mina.

Day 9 (The day before Eid) Departure for Arafat and standing in Arafat. After sunset, departure from Arafat to Muzdalifah.

Day 10 (First day of Eid al-Adha) Departure from Muzdalifah to Mina. Stoning of the devil, slaughtering of sacrificial animals. Exiting ihram. Visitation tawaf and sa’y (if possible).

Day 11 (Second day of Eid al-Adha) Stoning of the devil, Visitation tawaf and sa’y (if not performed on the first day).

Day 12 (Eid al-Adha, Day 3) Stoning of the Devil.

Day 13 (4th day of Eid al-Adha) Daily routine worship programmes.

Day 14 Return from Mecca to South Africa.
